Mike Herman, DVM

Dr. Mike Herman is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico.  He graduated from Colorado State University in 1991, and fell in love with Colorado (and - of course - a beautiful woman) which kept him here.  He has worked at Belcaro Animal Hospital his entire career.  He now lives in Mayfair with his wife, two daughters, and menagerie of pets.  He loves all animals, but works with Colorado Greyhound Adoption and Galgo Rescue International.  In 2009 he was nominated as the Morris Animal Foundation's National Veterinarian of the Year.  In his sparse free time he enjoys running, fixing used computers and electronics, snowmobiling, and is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Renee Mansfield, DVM

Dr. Renee Mansfield grew up in New Hampshire and, after attaining her BA in Economics at the College of the Holy Cross, she came to Colorado to attend Colorado State University to study veterinary medicine.  Renee became a member of the Belcaro team in July of 2009.  Her husband - a native Coloradan - and she live with their three furry kids...  A wheaton terrier, a kerry blue terrier, and one very bossy tortishell cat.  In her spare time, Renee enjoys being involved with the Flatirons AKC chapter, as well as working with her roses and attempting to quilt.

Dr. Robert Moore received his BS in Microbiology and, in 1983, his veterinary degree from Colorado State University.  He spent time in the Kingdom of Tonga as a Peace Corps volunteer, followed by work in private practice and a stint as the shelter veterinarian in the Bahamas Humane Society in Nassau.  After running his own practice in Aurora for eight years, Dr. Moore then worked as an associate at Evans East Animal Hospital from 2001 until August of 2009, at which time he then joined the Belcaro Animal Hospital team.  He enjoys hiking, cross country skiing, and other outdoor activities with his wife and son.
