We are working curbside through the pandemic.

When you arrive - call the front desk. A staff member will meet you in the parking lot to take your pet in to the hospital to be seen and returned to you when finished. We will do our best to use phone, FaceTime and email to communicate. Think ahead - write down your pet's history and symptoms, and questions for the doctor before you arrive.  These are trying times, but we will keep our staff safe so we can keep your pet safe and healthy. Remember we're all in this together!

When you arrive, call the front desk - do not leave  a message. If busy, please call again in a minute or two. We are helping everyone as quickly as we can.

Saturdays have changed to scheduled appointments only,
We will be accepting a limited number of drop off appointments in the mornings only on weekdays. Tech Services will remain unchanged, we ask that you please be patient with us.

****Important Notice****

Thank you for your patience during this unique time in our history. A big thank you to our employees for going above and beyond - their hard work and dedication has been amazing. They are a part of our family, so in order to keep them safe, and keep our clients and their families safe, we will continue car side service through the month of May. We will return to having clients in the building when it is safe, and we are consulting DORA, CDPHE, and the City and County of Denver in order to know when to make the transition to a more normal routine for all of us.

Thank You,
Staff at Belcaro Animal Hospital

Protect pets if you are sick

If you are sick with COVID-19 (either suspected or confirmed by a test), you should restrict contact with your pets and other animals, just like you would with people. Until we know more about this virus, people sick with COVID-19 should avoid contact with pets and other animals.

  • When possible, have another member of your household care for your pets while you are sick.
  • Avoid contact with your pet including petting, snuggling, being kissed or licked, sharing food, and sleeping in the same bed.
  • If you must care for your pet or be around animals while you are sick, wear a mask and wash your hands before and after you interact with them.

If you are sick with COVID-19 and your pet becomes sick, do not take your pet to the veterinary clinic yourself. Call your veterinarian and let them know you have been sick with COVID-19. Some veterinarians may offer telemedicine consultations or other plans for seeing sick pets. Your veterinarian can evaluate your pet and determine the next steps for your pet’s treatment and care.

The Professional Veterinary Staff and our team are committed to bringing you and your pets better health by practicing the science of Veterinary Medicine.
